Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Training
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is an annual training requirement for all Certificate and Licence holders in the Real Estate industry (NSW).
- NSW Fair Trading recently announced a change to the CPD year, the new annual obligation is between 1st July 2024 - 30th June 2025.

2024 - 2025 CPD Obligations:
Class 1 / Class 2 CPD Obligations:
- NSW Fair Trading have changed the CPD guidelines for this year providing flexibilty in how you complete your obligation.
- Licensed agents must complete a minimum of 5 hours of Interactive CPD training on compulsory topics relevant to the category of licence.
- If you cannot complete your compulsory CPD in a face-to-face or online interactive environment over the 5 hours you must complete online modules over a 10 hour period.
- We offer you an option of either attending a 5 hour live interactive webinar or watch our 10 hour online video modules.
- Our CPD courses suitable for for Class 1 & Class 2 for Residential Real estate salespeople, Residential Property Managers & Commercial.
- If you have additional licence categories e.g, (stock and station, strata). You have additional CPD obligations click here to learn more.
- CPD must be completed annually between the 1st July 2024 - 30 June 2025.
- This years CPD deadline is 30th June 2025.
Certificate Holders/Assistant Agents CPD Obligations:
- NSW Fair Trading requires all certificate /assistant agents to complete a minimum of three (3) licensing units each year towards the obligation of migrating to a full licence within four (4) years.
- You must complete these licensing units prior to the annual cpd deadline of 30th June each year.

** In 2024 – 2025 CPD Year if you are a residential salesperson you must in addition to the above 5 Hour requirement, you must complete a specific Government Online Underquoting program developed by NSW Fair Trading, this must be completed online via TAFE NSW.

When is my CPD Due?
- The date of when CPD is due has now changed for everyone above. CPD is no longer a renewal based activity, now becoming a calendar based event.
- Everyone’s CPD must be completed annually between 1st July – 30th June.
- The next CPD is due date is 30th June 2025.
